Thank you, thank you for being here during the slow, wintry times of The Ecstatic Wanderer newsletter. I am working on a story about drinking that I am eager to share with you soon. I am also working on a website and planning out and preparing for the next voyage of Firefly early this Spring (maybe sooner if I can’t stand it anymore). I am a busy bee and starting to feel the cabin fever, but it is still ankle deep snow and lethal ice here in Indiana.
This morning I looked out my window to white and soft blue stillness and silence, and was reminded of how the winter puts us closer to the cold and silent darkness of the universe in which this precious spinning ball is situated.
